Vision&Mission
WEAVER is an interactive platform to promote business model oriented creation and innovation of youth entrepreneurship.
It provides competence development opportunities for university students to deliver the understanding of entrepreneurship, to initiate the interest of innovation, to inspire the action of creativity, to nurture the capability of entrepreneurship. The competence will be gained by diversified activities including public speeches, workshops, competitions, forums, boot camps and interactive activities with both Chinese and foreign youth entrepreneurship development organisations.
History
The University of Nottingham Ningbo, China, bringing international ranked teaching and research excellence from the University of Nottingham UK into Chinese education market, distinguishes itself for globalisation. Equipped with strong language skills in English, Chinese, and even a second foreign language, we are privileged to get well with people around the world with different cultural backgrounds. Such experience enables us to develop a network with great diversity included in an early stage of our career and personal development. While enjoying all the privileges of an international university, we also keep a close watch on the fast-developing Chinese market. Working with experienced professionals and brilliant fellow students from all over the world, we are exposed to innovative ideas especially in business fields.
